Soon after retiring as college/career specialist at neighboring TJHSST, Sunny became a Green Spring Master Gardener. She cofounded the group’s “Groundbreakers” publication and currently co-edits “Gardenline”, FROGS’ quarterly publication. A longtime resident of the Lake Barcroft community, she helped establish the Lake Barcroft Village, which allow seniors to remain in their home as long as possible. She loves traveling to distant gardens and plant nurseries. She delights in communicating her passion for gardening and the environment with the public in general and her grandchildren in particular.
