Old places with gardens are some of the best places on earth for Becky. Green Spring gave Becky the best of both worlds for her first professional job right out college: history and gardens. Working at Green Spring strengthened her love for both subjects. She has since gone on to manage several local historic sites and small house museums. Becky currently serves as a museum educator at the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Quantico. She gets her gardening fix by working part-time as the gardener at Carlyle House Historic Site in Alexandria, thus keeping her love of house museums and gardening alive. Becky lives in Woodbridge with her husband. She teaches yoga in her spare time and continues to dream of the next garden or house project.
