Aimee was raised by a gardener in Connecticut and has been gardening ever since—in three states and six countries. She is delighted to finally be in one place long enough to see the trees she plants grow up.

In the early 80's the Martin family often visited Green Spring Gardens Park—a gem then, but a far cry from the established gardens we now have. Aimee came back to Green Spring for Master Gardener training after retiring from a wandering life working for foreign assistance programs. She is especially interested in sustainable gardening and increasing the use of native plants.
