FROGS Annual Meeting Recap

 

Over fifty members attended the FROGS Annual Meeting on Sunday, March 2, 2025! 

Aimee Martin, the immediate past president, provided highlights from 2024:

  • Heartfelt thanks to the Green Spring Garden Staff for all their support;
  • Despite the rain, Spring Garden Day brought in $11,000 for the gardens;
  • Income from holiday greens sale: $2,706;
  • Income from photographer sittings last fall:  $1,000;
  • Income from the Annual Appeal, as of January 30, 2025:  $31,234;
  • Summer Concert a great success;
  • Arts in the Garden: 7 shows with 22 exhibitors;
  • Title 1 school children on field trips:  1,513 from 22 schools;
  • Please support parks in the upcoming budget hearings.

Tatiana Lisle, FROGS Treasurer, briefed on FROGS' 2024 financial status. Here is a look at our 2024 Financial Data. (The financial data from the presentation slides are shown below.)

Linda Nordstrom, the new FROGS President, provided our current memberships at 1,141 and individual members as 1,359. These numbers are stable since the end of 2024.

She also stated that the FROGS Board will be sending more information to the members in the future.  This newsletter will continue to be our signature publication.  However, we will now also send emails with timely information on Board actions and decisions.  In addition, our website is an excellent source of information.  Communication goes both ways, so if you want to contact the Board, please email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
