Happy Summer, FROGS Members!
Linda Nordstrom, FROGS PresidentAfter a relatively mild (and wet) spring, we are immersed in our hot and humid Virginia summer. Although we may be sweltering in the heat, many of our beautiful gardens are thriving and putting on a stunning show. We hope you take some time to come out and enjoy the peace and respite of the gardens.
Spring Garden Day 2025 was a resounding success! Thanks to you, our wonderful vendors, our well-curated Plant Shop, and our delicious bake sale, we raised over $21,000 for our gardens! Congratulations! Many thanks go to the GSG staff, who were on the ground in every location, as well as to you, our many volunteers, who helped make the day a success!
As I mentioned at the Annual Meeting in January and again in our winter newsletter, the FROGS board is introducing new steps to communicate key points and decisions by the FROGS board. Beginning in August, we will send a Constant Contact email to all members with the key points from that month’s board meeting. The board meets on the third Wednesday of the month. You can expect to see this email from us by the last day of each month. We hope these emails will provide our members with valuable and pertinent information.
