Plant Swap Event at Green Spring is a Success!
Green Spring held its first-ever Plant Swap/Adoption Event. It was a great success and drew attendees who contributed houseplants, cuttings, and containers to swap or leave for adoption. Elizabeth Waugh, our Youth and Family Education Coordinator fills us in.

FROGS Photo ContestGreen Spring Gardens’ first Judged Photography Contest sponsored by Friends of Green Spring is open to non-professional photographers age at least 18 in 2022. Photographs must have been taken between July 2020 and June 2022. Up to 95 contest entry photographs that convey the beauties of Green Spring Gardens will be judged, awarded prizes (1st $200, 2nd $100, and 3rd $75), and on public display from August 23, 2022, through October 15, 2022. Download our Entry Form and Contest Rules, and find more information on the Photo Contest webpage.

Art in the Garden: Now through June 26: In the Horticulture Center— Potomac Valley Watercolorists, Emergence; in the Historic House— Vero Barker-Barzel, Magical Chimeras: Birds, Cats & More. More information on these and upcoming shows can be found on Art in the Garden.
