Construction of the stone retaining wall along the walkway to the ponds is complete! When you come to Green Spring Gardens, be sure to take the pathway that begins in the parking lot by the Historic House and enjoy the new wall on your way down to the ponds.

The wall, funded by a Mastenbrook Grant and FROGS, was needed to help stabilize the slope and reduce sediment-laden runoff flowing into Turkeycock Run. For more information about the retaining wall, see the article in the Summer 2021 issue of Gardenline.
